Anchor Point Hostel and Cafe

The place

An adults-only hostel about ten minutes on foot from Cenang Beach, built around its own cafe. The kitchen serves brunch and lunch with halal, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Beds are in dorms — one mixed, one female-only — and the rooms open onto balconies with garden and river views. Bikes are free to borrow, parking is free, and there is an outdoor fireplace for the evenings.
